I provide a variety of tools and services specifically designed for schools and theatre companies.

 

My catalogue of play scripts is continually expanding, offering performance groups the opportunity to purchase and produce new works. Additionally, I conduct practical workshops in devising and theatre-making across diverse genres and styles, and as a playwright, I am available for commissions to create new plays and devised works with your group.

 

For established companies and festivals, I can serve as a learning designer to create education packages and materials that enhance student engagement and understanding of your creative works, while also assisting teachers in aligning learning activities with performance standards like ACARA, SACE, IB. With over 17 years of experience working with the SACE Board of South Australia as a marker, moderator, and lead practitioner, as well as an Education Consultant in the Arts and Pathways Faculty, I bring extensive knowledge in Drama and the Arts, along with interdisciplinary learning.

 

My experience writing plays for secondary school students and showcasing these productions at respected events like the Adelaide Fringe Festival reflects my commitment to nurturing young individuals as both Drama students and authentic practitioners. I am passionate about connecting arts learning to the arts industry whether that be in theatre, film, writing or other aspects of the Creative Industries. Collaborating with young people as "the playwright in the room" is both humbling and empowering, allowing me to bridge their artistic expressions with audiences. It’s a privilege that highlights my role as a creative and arts educator.
